Since the garden has just been so full, I wanted to share just what’s for dinner. It’s not pretty, but I was thinking about it, and most of what I’m eating, including cocktail, was from non-conventional sources.

DINNER!
Pasta, with turnips, collards, turnip greens, squash, bacon and one egg.
Turnips, with greens, collards and squash were all picked around 4pm from the garden.
The bacon, comes from a farm in Denair, CA. We bought half a pig, and it was a naturally healthy piggie.

DRINK
Vodka, tonic strawberries and grapfruit juice
Strawberries from a stand down the street (in me freezer for a bit now) and Grapefruit was traded for in San Jose for bees!!
What an amazing dinner, once I sat down and thought of it!
